IJO comes back with a 21st full studio album. The album is presented as a musical sci-fi novel.
In the year 2149, humanity had reached new heights of technological advancement. But with great power came great destruction, and the Earth was left a barren and inhospitable place. The population had dwindled to just 20% of what it once was, and those who remained were forced to seek out new homes in the universe.
The first attempt at colonization was Mars, but despite the best efforts of the scientists and engineers, the Red Planet proved too hostile to sustain life. Desperate to find a new home, the remaining humans turned to artificial intelligence to help them search for Earth-like planets in the nearby solar system.
Using advanced spacecraft and AI-controlled scientists, a temporary settlement was established in the outer layers of Jupiter. From there, they were able to conduct their search for a new home, scanning the stars for any sign of a planet that could sustain life.
As the years passed, the search for a new home became an obsession for the remaining humans. They poured all their resources into the search, determined to find a place where they could start anew and rebuild their civilization.
But as time went on, the results of their search remained elusive. No matter how hard they looked, they could not find a planet that met all their criteria. The AI scientists and engineers continued their work, undaunted by the setbacks, but the human population began to lose hope.
The novel ends with the humans still searching, still hoping that one day they will find a new home. But whether they will ever succeed is left open to interpretation, a question that will continue to haunt them as they journey through the vast expanse of space.
